Taorism Object Of west Bangka.

For the greater part west Bangka Regency to touch each other with beach, it is very potency to be beach tourism area. Besides the beach, wes Bangka have some tourism potency such as culture tourism, history tourism, agro tourism, educate tourism and industry tourism, that can draw domestic tourist also from abroad to come and visit.

1.    Festival 7 Likur Mancung (Culture tourism)

This event is held in Mancung village the district of kelapa on ramadhan start from 21 st or 10 the edn of ramadhan that call 7 likur in Mancung village broad daylight to accept Lailatul qodhar night and also to adorn islam.

2.    Mountain Nature tourism (Natural tourism)

Potency of mountain attraction have special own, that can interest visitors coming from our country or abroad. Mountain earth usually has cold air because on upload plain. At this condition is very suitable to air temperature in west Bangka regency. One of mountain tourism object in west Bangka regency is Menumbing mount that is located on higher place about 445 m dpl. From top mount we can enjoy nature view of Muntok area and surroundings, row of people’s home, green forests, vain of sea waves and coald aor that to blow flatter body everyone who to clim it. Besides that in the top mountain, there was old hotel that build on 1932, at the beginning of freedom it is used as separation place of nation leader “Bung Hatta” by ducth warrior. On this building, there was small museum that to showed Bung Karno objects to belong to car that used by Bung Karno/ Hatta for separated.

3.    Mount of Menumbing in Muntok (History tourism)

Menumbing mount is at about 445 m. the distance is about 12 Kms from Muntok town, one of the hotel here had been used by the first president Soekarno during the independent movement against dutch colonialism. The hotel is located at the top mountain. To get there, visitors should follow a winding asphalted road, but with beautiful view and coal air.

4. Wisma Ranggam in Muntok (History tourism)

“wisma ranggam” can reaches by a car or motorcycle. It is located at just 3 Kms from muntok town. This house was built at 1927 by dutch colonialisme as a rest place tin employee. On 22^nd December 1948, some leader of R. I Separated such as:

3. Mr. Assa’at

4. Komodor Surya Darma

5. Mr. ali. Sastromijoyo

6. Mr. Moh. Roem

·         Letter restoration again the capital of Yogyakarta by Ir. Soekarno to sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX

·         Bung Karno’s favourite food, likes penganan pelite, fafourite sharp and favourite fruit is durian

·         The leader or R.I come back again to Yogyakarta on 6 juli 1949

·         Proclaim’s Monument that sign by Bung Hatta on 7 august 1951,

5. white pepper (Agro tourism)

Until this time Bangka island still popular as one of big white pepper investor. Until now in west Bangka regency have recorded more less 273 H white pepper garden. This gardens scattered in some village in west Bangka regency. The visitors who come can see how the white pepper will process prefix from picking, to put in water, until ready for selling.
